Courses

Just like the field of American Studies, the American Culture and Literature program is intensely interdisciplinary. Our courses draw on faculty strengths in a variety of interrelated fields, including intellectual and social history, literary studies, cultural studies, ecocriticism, critical race studies, social theory, and popular culture, as we critically engage and examine the many cultures and experiences of the United States.
