Students in American Culture and Literature develop skills that are useful in a wide variety of pursuits. In addition to learning about American history, politics, literature, and culture, students also develop the following skills:

The interdisciplinary nature of the AMER program means it opens doors in a wide range of sectors. We take pride in preparing our students for whatever their future career goals may be, whether that is in the public or private sector, the teaching profession or corporate life, the arts or technical fields.
