The project brings together film, graphic design, and installation, translating literary metaphors into material, visual, and sensory forms.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4967\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4967\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4967\" src=\"http:\/\/amer.bilkent.edu.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/The_Fig_Tree_Poster.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"282\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4967\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Nilsu Demirel, &#8220;The Fig Tree&#8221;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The project was first displayed at Bilkent University\u2019s FADA Exhibition Hall in January of \u201925. Subsequently, the project has been selected for 12 exhibitions and screenings across 5 different countries, and was a semi-finalist in the Experimental category at the Student Academy Awards in 2025!
